Solstice and Fundraising

Ah! Such an awesome weekend! Well, in all reality I should say such an awesome Saturday night (if a very long one).

6pm Saturday -- Fundraiser for Mia at Memphis Station. Hung out with friends, had a few drinks, raised a huge chunk of change, and all before nine o'clock at night! I am still on a high from this. It is great to see people band together to take care of one of their own and exceed expectations at every turn.  Cinnette and Freddy, if you're reading this: Congratulations! You are both amazing and all your hard work paid off in a huge way!

10pm Saturday -- Summer Solstice 2011 and the Cleveland Museum of Art. This was fantastic. High energy, great atmosphere, incredible art and fantastic music! If you want to see a bit of the party (if you can ignore the horrible audio) click below. It really was amazing. It was a perfect end to the night. I can't even explain how cool it was.

Got home around 2am, fell into bed at 2:30am and then woke up at 6am (damn internal alarm clock) and have been up and exhausted, but happy since. Happy Solstice, all! Here's to a beautiful, fun-filled summer!
