Titles are such hard thing to come up with. Seriously. I have trouble naming stories, essay, poetry. It's not that I don't know what the subject's about or that I can't actually think of one. I usually think up a whole slew of them. But what to name it? What's quirky without being weird? Flashy without being ostentatious? Scholarly without being stuffy? I usually just end up with the regular, boring, unexciting statement, i.e. "Socialism in Chile" or "Gender and Factory Work" or "[Insert Main Character's First Name Here]". I'm a generally creative person. You'd think I'd be able to handle something as simple as a title, but no.

On to the next subject: graduation is expensive. I mean it. Not only do I have to by a cap and gown (which total around $50), but I've also got my LA membership (which is $25), and my stole and pin (which are another $50). That doesn't even count costs like people coming into town, parking at the actual event, psychological help to restore my sanity afterward. Can't I just walk down the aisle in a nice pair of slacks and a blouse? I'd rather have my stole and pin than a cap and gown anyday. Maybe I just won't walk. It's too expensive and kind of anti-climatic since I'm going right back to school the next week to finish up my last two classes.
